We create places that put

people first, where they can

live, thrive, and belong.

Our values are at the

core of everything we do.

We have been helping to shape the landscape of urban and regional Australia for 60 years. Since the beginning, our team has been guided by our four core values. These values are central to everything we do, they are:

People first.

People bring places to life, whether they are businesses, homes, or leisure spaces. We know the energy that people bring to a space is what makes that space inspiring. When we develop, own or manage a space we’re always thinking about how people will interact with that space and to foster the energy they bring.

Exceed expectations.

We work to provide innovative spaces that create new benchmarks in design and sustainability. In short, we don’t want to simply make our customers happy, we want to inspire them.

Deliver with integrity.

We know trust must be earned, so if we say we’ll do something, we do it. We’ve stuck by our word for 60 years and this won’t ever change.

Create the future.

We think outside the box and pride ourselves on always being ahead of the curve. We incorporate innovative solutions and ground breaking technology with tried and tested methods to ensure that our spaces stand the test of time.

creating a legacy.

Our story began in 1963 when our founder, Roy Sheargold, turned a fledgling home renovation business into a property development company. Today, Sheargold boasts a remarkable history, having worked on more than 70 projects in areas from Sydney, Newcastle and Taree to the Central Coast, Nowra, Ulladulla and Wollongong.

Through early partnerships with the Tieck and Cornock Families of supermarket chain Franklins, Sheargold worked on several large housing subdivisions, apartment buildings and shopping centres. By the late 1980s, Sheargold was investing and managing industrial, commercial, and residential property while also undertaking major residential development projects.
